Police in Molo, Nakuru county have arrested 4 suspects found in possession of counterfeit currency worth millions of shillings in both Kenya Shillings and American Dollars.
The 4, 3 men and a lady who were found in possession of the counterfeit currency and other paraphernalia used in the process of developing the fake notes in Molo town.
Confirming the incident Molo OCPD Paul Cheruiyot saying that the four were arrested with fake 20,300 US Dollars and an additional fake notes valued at Ksh. 80,000.
Other items including a stamp, 2 bottles of chemicals, two rolls of aluminium foil and 3 bank slips that the suspects had used to withdraw money.
Cheruiyot said the four were arrested after the public informed the police of their suspicious movements.
