Agriculture CS Accused of Demanding Bribes From Parastatal Chiefs

Nairobi — Supended Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Felix Koskei is being investigated for allegedly demanding bribes from parastatal heads in his ministry.

The CS is also accused of allocating permits to sugar importers irregularly without following the due process as required by the COMESA rules.

His Roads counterpart Engineer Michael Kamau on the other hand is being investigated on suspicion of illegally contracting a Chinese firm to handle 80 percent of all clearing and forwarding at the Port of Mombasa for a period of 14 years.

The explossive report shows that Davis Chirchir who stepped aside from the Energy ministry is under investigation alongside Senator Mike Sonko in a 1.4 billion shilling tender at the Kenya Pipeline.

Charity Ngilu who heads the Lands Ministry is also accused of conspiring with Sonko, businessman Deepak Kamani among others in fraudulent deals, as well as Kazungu Kambi of the Labour Ministry who is being probed over the Tassia project.
