Celebrated pop star Akon is in the country. The American singer arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport some minutes to 11pm on Friday night for the Airtel Trace Music Stars Pan-African Grand Finale scheduled for Saturday.
The musician will spend the night at Enashipae Spa and Resort in Naivasha where the event is scheduled to take place.
Akon is accompanied by Devyne Stephens, a well-respected US Music mogul credited with discovering a long list of music heavyweights including Jay-Z, P diddy, Alicia Keys, Usher, Mariah Carey as well as Akon himself.
Stephens who will be sitting on the panel of Judges during the finale is also the Owner of UpFrontMegatainment.
