Chris Brown Denied Entry Into Canada Hours Before Scheduled Shows

Rapper Chris Brown just cannot catch a break! After recently being denied entry into Canada only hours before he was supposed to have scheduled concerts at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Tuesday Feb. 24 and at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto the following night, things just seem to be getting worse and worse for the controversial singer.

On Tuesday, Brown took to his Twitter to announce he had not been allowed into the country in posted then deleted tweets that read,”Unfortunately I will not be ale to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto,” and “The good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!”

Live Nation confirmed that the controversial rapper had been denied entry for his shows that also featured Trey Songz and Tyga due to “immigration issues” and the canceled shows will be refunded at the point of purchase.

Although the reasons for his rejection at the border are legitimate, stemming from Brown’s previous arrest for domestic violence for which he is still on probation, fans quickly took to Twitter to blame Canadian rapper Drake for Brown not being allowed in, joking about the long standing feud between the two.

Earlier in the year, Brown’s probation was revoked after the courts learned he had traveled without consent to perform at a venue where five people were shot outside during the concert.
