The midfielder was at some point in the transfer period linked with a move to AFC Leopards, but that crumbled when Gor Mahia came in ahead of the transfer deadline at midnight on Saturday, with club secretary Ronald Ngala confirming the midfielder has been handed a two-year deal.Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia have confirmed the completion of midfielder Crispin Odula’s signing after the former Bandari midfielder spent a week on trials ahead of the second leg of the season.
Ngala says the midfielder’s move as directed by the team’s head coach Jose Marcelo Ferreira will be the club’s final transfer dealing, making it four new players for the team as the second half of the season gets under way.
“I can confirm we have completed the move for Odula as per the coach’s request and he will be our last signing for the mid-season window. We have brought in four new players and we are done with transfers as we head to the second leg,” Ngala revealed.
Odula joins Gor Mahia after a year-long stint in Finland with AC Oulu; he will join Wellington Ochieng, Baron Jobita and Meddie Kagere who were signed up earlier.
