Govt Announces Raft of Measures to Fight Tobacco Smoking

 

The government has introduced new anti-smoking regulations as the country battles a high number of deaths attributed to tobacco use. In a new campaign that is designed to shock and discourage smokers, cigarette manufacturers will be required to feature graphic images showing the effect of tobacco on users. Michael Njenga now reports on the regulations that have been approved and gazetted by Health Cabinet Secretary James Macharia.
