Interior cabinet secretary Joseph Nkaissery has voiced protest over travel advisories issued by some Western countries against Kenya, citing security concerns.
Nkaissery has termed the advisories as baseless, saying they were issued without any facts considering the efforts his ministry is making to secure the country in addition to the several unreported cases where security agencies have thwarted several terrorist attacks.
The interior cabinet secretary further warned against false messages claiming that the country could be attacked by Al -shabaab militants.
