Pop superstar Janet Jackson has promised to resume her ‘Unbreakable’ world tour in 2017, following the abrupt suspension of all dates.
She was supposed to kick off a major global tour last year but has only played once since November.
The five-time Grammy winner explained to fans through a video posted on Twitter that the reason for postponing the tour is she and her husband are planning a family.
She also linked to an article in US Magazine, which said 2017 dates would be announced at a later time, and all tickets are to be honored but refunds are available.
The ‘Unbreakable World Tour,’ Jackson’s first tour since 2011, has been riddled with delays.
In December, the singer said her tour was on hold due to a surgery, and she denied rumors of having cancer.
Then in March, she announced the cancellation of a planned European tour, a sudden change in her schedule since she reported a mystery illness in December.
Janet Jackson disappeared from the spotlight for a few years, but recently made a music comeback with her 11th studio album ‘Unbreakable.’
