Kiambu Governor trashes opposition’s call for a referendum: VIDEO

Kiambu governor William Kabogo has trashed the calls for a national referendum by the CORD coalition, saying that it is too early to put the country into an election mood.

Speaking in Kiambu, Kabogo said that although some clauses in the constitution needed amendments, the same could be reviewed by an act of parliament instead of going for a referendum.

This as the opposition coalition plans a series of rallies to drum up support for the Okoa Kenya referendum.
