Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe leaked for NAIAS

 

Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe first picture have leaked the web, ahead of its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The new vehicles is previewed by the Mercedes Concept SUV Coupe, the production model for this GLE car has a prominent front fascia with a single bar grille that is flanked by Mercedes-Benz S-Class inspired headlights. Bigger changes in GLE Coupe occur aft of the A-pillar and adopts a dynamic roofline, a distinctive rear end that is bound to provoke love-or-hate it reactions.

The interior Mercedes GLE Coupe largely carries over from Mercedes M-Class, but it additional wood trim, adopts a new steering wheel, & a freestanding COMAND infotainment system.

Engine options for the new GLE Coupe remain unconfirmed, but there will reportedly be a number of variants including:

  • A GLE 350d with 258 PS (190 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque
  • A GLE 400 4MATIC with 333 PS (245 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque
  • A GLE 450 AMG Sport with 367 PS (270 kW) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque

Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 AMG Coupe will debut in NAIAS, will arrive next summer & the live vehicles is slated to feature a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine 525 PS (386 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.
