The miss tourism beauty pageant national finals will be held Saturday night.
The event, which is scheduled to take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) in Nairobi, will kick-off at 5PM.
A total of 40 finalists from 40 counties will battle it out for the bragging rights of being crowned miss tourism Kenya.
This title will come with contracts from several sponsoring firms as well as 1.2 million shillings cash prize.
Seven counties including Embu, Wajir, Lamu, West Pokot, Turkana, Mandera and Garissa will not be represented in the finals.
This comes even as logistical and planning challenge at the competition’s preliminary stages affects them.
The winning beauty will represent the country in the miss tourism world finals scheduled for later this year.
