One worker was killed and four others injured after a building under demolition collapsed at Wakulima Market, Nairobi on Wednesday.
They had climbed onto the roof to bring down bricks and blocks when the building caved in,” St Johns Ambulance said.
The four were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital after the 8am incident, Communications manager Fred Majiwa told the Star on phone on Wednesday.
He said the demolition began on Monday to allow more space for the road.
