Prezzo arrested for assaulting KQ pilot

Prezzo-arrested

Kenyan rapper Prezzo (real name Jackson Ngechu Makini) is cooling his heels at the Embakasi Police Station.

He was arrested on Saturday afternoon after he was involved in some drama at Nyayo Estate in Nairobi.

He is alleged to have slapped a KQ pilot identified as Stanley Kipchumba.

Embakasi DCIO Ephantus Kimulwa confirmed that the Naleta Action hit rapper was in police custody and was expected to appear in court tomorrow (Monday) to answer to charges of assault.

He told The Star on phone: “At around noon on Saturday, KQ pilot Stanley Kipchumba drove into Nyayo Estate where he resides, and parked his car.

“As he was offloading shopping items from the boot, Prezzo with two other men, seemingly inebriated, approached Stanley and asked him to drop them in town.Stanley responded that he does not operate a taxi.

“At this point, Prezzo asked him, “ Kwani hujui mimi ni nani ?” (You don’t know who I am?).”

It was at that point that Prezzo allegedly threatened and slapped the pilot, who then called the estate security who then called the police who arrested the rapper.

However, Kimulwa has discounted reports doing rounds on social media that guns were drawn during the incident.

This is not the first incident Prezzo has been arrested for his lawless activities.
