Secondus accuses APC of planning to destabilise Nigeria

The National Deputy Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of allegedly trying to destabilise the country.

According to him, there are clandestine moves by APC and its Campaign Organisation to derail the 2015 general elections.

Secondus, who spoke during the grand finale of the PDP governorship rally at Obio Akpor Local Government Area, said APC knows that PDP would win the 2015 general elections, and therefore, decided to cause confusion.

He also accused APC of planning to recruit hoodlums, with a view to using them to rig the elections, especially in the North Eastern part of the country.

He also alleged that APC imported a large consignment of army and police uniforms, for the purpose of using same to rig election.   Giving further insight into the alleged plan by APC to destabilise the government of President Goodluck Jonathan, Secondus claimed that one of the ways was to create panic in the minds of Nigerians.

, to scare them from coming out to perform their civic responsibilities on the re-scheduled dates for the elections.

“APC is sponsoring frightening captions in the media, threatening wars and bloodshed, particularly in some parts of the nation, just to frighten Nigerians,” he said.
