Security Laws Tussle

The state has appealed a high court decision suspending eight clauses in the controversial security laws amendment act. In court filings attorney general professor Githu Muigai cites 14 grounds he wants the court of appeal to consider and set aside the ruling made last week by high court Judge Justice George Odunga. And as Kendagor Obadiah reports the move has opened another front in cord coalition’s legal battle with the jubilee administration over the disputed laws.
