Stars to face Mauritius Sunday afternoon

The national soccer team Harambee Stars will face Mauritius this afternoon in the return leg of the 2018 world cup qualifier match at the Moi international sports center Kasarani.

The Stars won the first leg 5-2 last Wednesday in Port Luis and just need to avoid a 4 -0 defeat in this afternoon’s match so as to book a date with Cape Verde in the second leg.

The team has been boosted by the availability of defenders Brian Mandela and David ‘Calabar’ Owino who joined the team yesterday.

The duo, who missed the first leg clash in Port Louis four days ago, were part of the 22-man squad that trained yesterday morning.

Head coach Bobby Williamson has revealed that he will adjust his side a little aiming to test some of his players tactically as he prepares for the next assignment.
