It hasn’t been the best of weeks for Cristiano Ronaldo. First his side lost 4-0 to city rivals Atletico in the Madrid derby.
Then he was sharply criticised for partying after the defeat, even though the Ballon D’Or winner said his birthday celebrations had been planned long before the match and he did not want to let his family down.
And now a vine of him being trolled by a ball boy in the same fixture a year ago has resurfaced online.
The cheeky young lad, presumably an Atleti fan, appeared to hold the ball out for the Real star, before throwing it off to the side and looking away nonchalantly.
You can see the incident in footage of the match below – Ronaldo appeared to laugh off the boy’s rudeness, but we suspect he won’t be too impressed with it being resurrected this week of all weeks.
