WFP, County Government Donate Food Stuffs To Samburu Residents

Over two thousand Samburu residents have benefitted from food provisions being supplied by the World Food Program in conjunction with the Samburu county government.
Among the food stuffs being distributed include 6, 500 bags of maize, beans and cooking oil, while another one thousand five hundred bags will be distributed to more remote areas. These relief efforts come as the effects of drought in the county continue to bite, posing a great risk to residents’ lives.
