Zdravko Logarusic to head Leopards

Nairobi, Kenya: AFC Leopards have appointed Zdravko Logarusic as head coach. The Croat makes a dramatic return to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) hardly two years since quitting champions Gor Mahia.

Formaer Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic who has been apointed to head the AFC Leopards technical bench.

 

According to AFC Leopards Secretary General George Aladwa, the Croat will be unveiled next week. Leopards settled on Logarusic after initially saying they wanted to hire Romanian Marin Dorin.

Logarusic takes over the hot seat from Dutchman Pitier De Jongh and will have the twin challenge of motivating the players even as he tries to win silverware with the club.

He comes at a time Leopards have hit an all time low as they went the whole of 2014 without a trophy and the players were unpaid for several months forcing some of them to demand for their release.

Leopards are currently in Mumias for a 10 day training camp.
