Gareth Bale once again found himself the subject of Cristiano Ronaldo’s anger after Spanish TV claimed the Portuguese star shouted a rude phrase at his Real Madrid team-mate for not passing the ball to him against Espanyol.
Bale – who scored a superb free-kick to take Real 2-0 up over their opponents on Saturday – annoyed his Los Blancos colleague during the La Liga game after he decided to go for goal in the 71st minute instead of passing to the well-placed Ronaldo.
The Portuguese winger reacted in a furious fashion – as he also did last week when Bale failed to pass to Karim Benzema in the 2-1 loss at Valencia – when he was subsequently caught shouting.
Despite Real coach Carlo Ancelotti insisting the relationship between the pair was ‘very good’, Spanish TV analysed the original incident in depth following the 3-0 victory and concluded that Ronaldo had yelled a rude phrase at Bale.
Ronaldo is claimed to have said ‘La puta que te pario’, which translates in English as ‘The w**** that gave birth to you.’
