Tutors Who Fled Northern Kenya Not Paid For 3 Months

Teachers who fled the volatile Northern Kenya region three months ago, are still a disgruntled and impoverished lot as the teachers service commission continues to hold on to their salaries.

Although TSC has indicated they will be paid at the end of this month, the financial challenges they have faced in the past 3 months have seen them venture into other jobs, including touting and becoming farm hands, just to make ends meet. As Frankline Macharia reports, the over 800 teachers insist they will never return to the region.
