Gabby Agbonlahor is delighted to be playing striker again at Aston Villa.
Agbonlahor, who celebrated his 300th Premier League appearance for the club with a brace in the 4-0 win at Sunderland.
“It’s always good to score especially when you’re playing down the middle,” Agbonlahor told the Birmingham Mail.
“I’m enjoying playing there.
“In different games, the gaffer will change it as he sees fit and I’m happy to be playing as striker at the moment.
“We’re creating more chances and we’re starting to put them away which is good for Christian and I in terms of confidence.
“We’ll keep working hard this week and try and do the same against Swansea.
“It doesn’t matter who plays or who scores at this point of the season, it’s just crucial to pick up points and that’s what we did.”
