You know the Moipei Sisters? Well, if not, relax, I am here to let you know who they are. You remember when President Uhuru Kenyatta was being inaugurated as the fourth President of the Republic of Kenya? These are the sisters who wowed the audience at the Kasarani stadium with their wonderful performance during the inauguration ceremony.
Since then, the four sisters have been going from strength to strength, curving out a niche for themselves and telling the world that they indeed exist.
Late last week they announced on their facebook page that they would be performing the US National Anthem at an NBA match between San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers, a match that would later be attended by thousands of supporters as the NBA series draws closer to its conclusion.
On Sunday, one of our biggest dreams will come true. We will be singing the American anthem for the San Antonio Spurs vs. LA Clippers 4th playoff game. Truly, “no matter where you come from, your dreams are valid.” To God be the Glory.
And true to their word, the Moipei sisters never disappointed. As they took to the pitch to perform, nobody anticipated what followed. Their voices and composure told it all as they wowed the crowd with a wonderful performance of the US national anthem, leaving ululations and rounds and rounds of applause from a stunned crowd.
The Moipei Sisters is a group of four sisters, triplets and one sister. They are Mary, Magdalene and Martha and their younger sister Seraphine.
They are currently in the US where they are studying at the St. Mary’s University.
Here is what they did:
